The 2nd term

So American Express is cutting 5400 jobs. I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg and we'll be seeing a lot more of this as the year goes on. So RG3 had to have surgery today on his right knee. Reconstructive surgery that is for a torn ACL, and LCL. This is a down right shame, I mean this kid is quite possibly the best thing to happen to Washington football in years. And Mike Shanahan didn't have the guts or leadership to stand up to his rookie QB and tell him he's done. Your injured, quite possibly with a career ending injury and your coming out of the game. In the end Mr. Shanahan had to make a choice between possible praise and adulation or doing the right thing. He failed, now a young career hangs in the balance. RG3 could quite possibly become the best QB that never was. This really pisses me off, and I'm an Eagles fan.

So the hypocrite Gore rushed his Current TV deal to avoid higher taxes from the fiscal cliff deal. All I can say is... Hypocrite! Where are your principles Al, aren't you one championing the rich paying their fair share. Oh I forgot, your an elitest that knows best what everyone else should do, but God forbid you take your own advice when it's detrimental to your own well being, or pocket.

I was hoping he would be gone as SOTH. I'm convinced he doesn't have the stomach for it. He worries too much about the publics perception and not enough about what his lack of a spine is doing to this country.

So the fiscal cliff deal got us $1 in budget savings for every $41 paid in additional taxes, and it's adding $4,000,000,000,000.00 to the deficit. Yes that TRILLION! Like this is really getting us somewhere. I'm convinced Washington needs to burn.

The new cliff deal...

In his comments on the new deal thats just been passed to avoid the so called "fiscal cliff" Obama said this... "In his White House remarks, Obama said that while he was open to compromise, he would demand deficit-cutting savings from added revenue on the well-off, not just spending cuts. He also pointedly said he would "not have another debate with this Congress" over extending the federal borrowing limit. ... "If Congress refuses to give the United States government the ability to pay these bills on time, the consequences for the entire global economy would be catastrophic — far worse than the impact of a fiscal cliff," he said. Let me translate this for you... The first paragraph simply means he's gonna ask for more tax hikes. Whats in this new bill in his opinion isn't enough. In the second paragraph he is pretty much letting everyone know he won't debate over raising the debt ceiling. He wants it raised, he has no interest in controling spending. He wants to spend till his hearts content with no interest in lowering the deficit. The third statement is just his way of ramping up more anxiety and trying to bring pressure to bare on the GOP by declaring this is a new catastrophy even more deadly than the last. Oh no the worlds gonna end, give me a damn break. Now of course the GOP will fall for all of it because there isn't a spine to be found on the right side of the aisle in DC.
